About Us
Background
BEEPER Healthcare Co Ltd. was the brainchild of group of healthcare, logistics and engineering professionals who had participated in the containment of SARS in 2003. During the SARS period, it could be seen from different walks of life, that people were continuously researching on means with a common objective. That is the prevention of cross infection, especially amongst patients in hospitals residential centres. During that period, clinical waste increased drastically, doubling between 2002 – 2003, 1,500 tonnes in 2002 to 3,000 tonnes in 2003. There will be a crisis of infectious disease spreading if wastes are not handled properly, health of people will be endangered, our environment damaged. Hence “BEEPER Healthcare Co. Ltd” was established in 2004 with the vision, objectives listed below.
We are an environmental concern group with expertise in healthcare, air filtration, engineering field etc. Our company name BEEPER stands for “Best Eco Economic Practice for Energy and Resource”. Our vision is to endeavour, to protect our environment and ensure younger generations a better and healthier environment.
